Greenville CAN’s Housing Workgroup is focused on addressing the lack of housing opportunities for individuals with disabilities who are currently living with aging caregivers and barriers to independent living for individuals with disabilities.
Currently we are focused on:
- Understanding how the CMS “Final Rule” will impact medicaid supported housing options in South Carolina. .
- Ensuring the needs of individuals with disabilities are considered as Greenville addresses affordable housing issues. .
- ABLE SC is developing a guide to help individuals with disabilities understand their housing options and federal protections in place such as the Fair Housing Act.
